Giclee Canvas on Board
Bob Barker started painting at the tender age of twelve. He is Yorkshire born and bred, although some of his youth was spent in Cornwall. It was here that he met two prominent artists Keith English & Tom Gower and spent hours watching them paint. This was a pivotal point in the making of Bob Barker the artist, he realised that this was the world he wanted to work in.
In 2000, he started selling his paintings to local galleries and then through these galleries his work went nation-wide.
Barker's art resonates with a great many of us, as he adeptly manages to convey the innocence of childhood through to the joie de vivre of adulthood.
We are now showcasing some of the work from the 2013 collection 'Jumpers For Goalposts' all are canvas on board small edition runs.
The new collection at Room with a View comprises of;
