Rozanne Bell
Being passionate about art from a young age and growing up in Zimbabwe, the extraordinary colours, light and contrasts inspired Rozanne greatly. Having to leave her country in 2002, art stayed a constant for her. She chose to settle in England and merge the drama and impact of the African landscape with the mystery and atmosphere of the Dorset coast. Bright colours, metallic and texture are a signature. From stunning flowers and meadows to seaside harbours, her style and colourful personality shines from them all. The process is intensive with multiple layers of resin, acrylic and glitter being included. Every layer of resin taking nine hours to dry alone. Each piece of work is an original with no one painting being the same as another. Rozanne as a huge following of loyal fans and collectors behind her so she sells very quickly. Her greatest achievement in this field was the charity auction of her remarkable Rocking Horse at Sotheby's, Bond Street: selling work over luminaries such as Judy Dench and Joanna Lumley.
