One of many famous Van Gogh pieces, Irises was painted at the Saint Paul-de-Mausole asylum in the last year before his death in 1890. Van Gogh started to paint irises as they were featured in the hospital gardens. Gogh continued to paint in the asylum as he believed that he could prevent himself from going insane.
This vase is a stunning tribute to his work in an art form that is practical and can be enjoyed in any room of the house. The vase can be used as a vase for flowers or as a stand alone item.
