Where it all began
Room With a View Fine Art Gallery began in 2012 with a single storefront on Warwick Street in Worthing. From the outset, the gallery set out to create a welcoming space for discovering contemporary art—bringing together carefully chosen artists, thoughtful curation, and a personal approach to collecting that continues to shape the gallery today.

Growing Our Gallery
In 2014, Room With a View Fine Art Gallery expanded by knocking through the central wall into the neighbouring shop, transforming the original space into a much larger gallery. This marked an important step forward, allowing for more ambitious displays, a wider range of work, and an enhanced experience for visitors.

Recognition at Goodwood
In 2019, Room With a View Fine Art Gallery was accepted to exhibit at the art fair held at Goodwood Estate, marking a further moment of recognition for the gallery. Participation in this prestigious event reflected the gallery’s growing reputation and the quality of the artists and work it represents.
2021
A Landmark Collaboration
In 2018, Room With a View Fine Art Gallery proudly showcased works by Jack Vettriano, marking a significant milestone in the gallery’s history. Since then, the gallery has gone on to sell hundreds of his works and is recognised as the only gallery listed on the artist’s Wikipedia page — a distinction that reflects both the strength of the partnership and the gallery’s reputation for excellence.
2018A New Generation
In 2023, Jane Hill’s daughter joined the gallery, marking the next chapter in Room With a View Fine Art Gallery’s journey as a family-run business. Her arrival reflects a continued commitment to the values the gallery was founded on, ensuring it remains independently owned and guided by family for years to come.
