Mandrill

Edge Sculpture Mandrill Bust by Matt Buckley

This Mandrill Bust captures the vibrant colour, strength, and character of one of the Old World’s most striking primates. Matt Buckley’s sculpting brings every detail to life, from the textured fur and expressive face to the distinctive markings that make the mandrill so recognisable, creating a lifelike and captivating piece.

Designed and sculpted by Matt Buckley at his studios in Shropshire, each sculpture begins as a hand-sculpted clay original. Specialist cases and moulds are then created to faithfully reproduce the design using a unique marble-based stone casting material.

Every Mandrill Bust is hand-painted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each sculpture is completely unique. A true statement piece that brings artistry, vitality, and the remarkable beauty of wildlife into any home or collection
