Narcissistic Bathers by Jack Vettriano
Narcissistic Bathers is a striking signed limited edition by celebrated Scottish artist Jack Vettriano, capturing the cinematic atmosphere and intriguing sense of narrative for which his work became renowned. Set beside the water, the scene depicts three elegantly dressed figures, with a woman crouching to study her reflection while her companions stand nearby.
Warm golden light, deep shadows and reflections across the wet sand create a beautifully atmospheric composition, inviting the viewer to imagine the story unfolding between the figures. Vettriano’s distinctive use of light, colour and cinematic storytelling gives the artwork a timeless and evocative quality.
This edition holds particular significance for collectors, limited to just 125 numbered editions plus 15 Artist’s Proofs. It was among a small number of previously unreleased editions personally hand-signed by Vettriano before his death in March 2025, making it one of the final editions to carry his original pencil signature.
A rare and highly collectible addition to Jack Vettriano’s remarkable artistic legacy, Narcissistic Bathers is a beautiful choice for both established collectors and admirers of his distinctive work.
