The Dachshund Pair Bronze Dog from Richard Cooper Studio is a stunning bronze figurine that captures the charm and character of this beloved breed. Sculpted by Michael Simpson, this exquisite design features two dachshunds in an endearing pose, showcasing their expressive features, long bodies, and floppy ears.
Cast in solid foundry bronze using the traditional lost wax method, the sculpture is then finished through the art of patination. Various acids are applied to the bronze surface, followed by heat, creating a deep, rich brown patina. Finally, the bronze is sealed with a special wax to enhance the colour and provide long-lasting protection, ensuring your sculpture remains beautiful for years to come.
Each piece is carefully engraved with the sculptor’s signature and limited edition number, matching the signed certificate of authenticity supplied in the printed presentation box. This makes it a highly desirable collectible and a perfect gift for dog lovers and fine art collectors alike
